This incredibly unique sculpture of a mama dinosaur laying her eggs was carved from a single chunk of 100% Mexican amber. This beautiful work of art was made by a very talented local artist and sits upon a hand carved base of fossil stone from Palenque on a solid obsidian stand. The sculpture itself, with it’s awesome attention to detail and nice show of blue green fluorescence in certain lighting situations, is bound to draw attention and praise.
Mexican amber is between 22-30 million years old, is a warming, organic substance possessing protective, healing, and metaphysical properties that have been used by the local Mayans for generations.
